Thank you message minimum.

As a female creator many of my supporters have learned that donating small increments at a time allows them to message me constantly. I am beyond grateful for any and every gift/crowdfunded donation so I have been responding to each one in depth. However this certain fan has been in a way abusing this system and holding conversations with me, I have learned to unfortunately to stop replying- it feels rude as theyre donating money but the parasocialism is bad. Maybe we should be able to set a minimum donated in order to leave a message. So cases like this stop where this fan is donating 5 dollars every day or so just to be able to message me feels like onlyfans where you pay to be able to chat very off putting.

This is important. Some creators disable messaging all together because some idiot will ruin it for everyone. Ideally also let the creator mute messages from a given gifter (without the gifter knowing). This would punish the problem user rather than everyone

This is why in my request for being able to open a dialogue via the thanks post, it's imperative that the receiver MUST be able to close the dialogue and MUST be the only one to open it. This is the exact scenario I was considering when I wrote my post. In my opinion, this request is a very important one. I know the user can choose to not respond, but many of us feel obligated to do so. It can cause a lot of pressure on our mental well-being if someone abuses the system to get close to us. That being said, there needs to be a way to prevent/block a donor too. Parasocialism is a big issue, and some people see donations as a way to try and control other users, or they EXPECT a return for their donation. For women, this a particularly a big issue too. I would be happy to have a dialogue with the team about ways we can increase safety while giving the thanks system greater flexibility and easier management. https://throne.canny.io/feature-requests/p/upload-more-thank… this is my feature request to which I referred.
