Finish Crowdfunding without 'cancelling'... out of respect for viewers
I want to use this site for my wedding donations when I stream my big day on twitch. The problem is, your crowdfunding forces 'abort' or 'cancel'... I don't believe that should be the only option. There is no way to estimate who will donate what. If we do not reach a 100% goal, it is almost like shaming the community by calling it a 'cancellation'. We need a way to have a 'finish' that treats a crowdfund item like it's been reached whenever an event or something has ended. Yes you can 'underestimate' but if you have a goal at 100%, people are less likely to donate because they think it's 'done'. No matter if a goal is reached or not, every bit helps and sometimes you reach a time limit where you should withdraw funds and put it towards being able to purchase an item. It isn't a 'cancellation'... I want to be able to treat any donated amounts with respect whether we reach the goal or not and be able to thank everyone for their generosity. Calling it a 'cancellation' does hurt trust in a very unnecessary way if you aren't actually 'cancelling'.
